EINDHOVEN, The Netherlands and SOUTH BEND, Indiana (6 January 2026) – – Forever Analytical, Inc., a hardtech startup whose industry first proton beam-powered technologyis transforming how total PFAS are detected, has announced the hiring of Arthur Kemp effective 2 January 2026. Kemp will be based in the company’s European office in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
As a mechanical engineer, Kemp brings more than five years of experience in the commercial development of hard technology. This includes technical design and architecture as well as project leadership and management skills. Prior to joining Forever Analytical, Kemp served as a system architect and technical project lead at Incooling, a Dutch company that developed advanced data center cooling and computer server technology.
Forever Analytical currently provides PFAS screening services that detects both total fluorine and total organic fluorine to customers across North American and Europe via its independent test laboratory. The company is in the midst of commercializing field deployable systems for on-site screening and monitoring PFAS in Europe and the United States. With this technology, Forever Analytical can determine the presence of PFAS in nearly any liquid or solid at the point of need affordably and in near real-time.
Forever Analytical’s field deployable systems will be an invaluable frontline resource for wastewater and water treatment plants, industrial and environmental remediation sites, and laboratories facing increasing regulations on the presence and use of PFAS.
Cor Datema is Forever Analytical’s Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director in Europe. He says the addition of Kemp to the team is well timed. “PFAS pollution is a significant issue because of the health risks posed to people and the environment. In 2025, PFAS regulations in Europe accelerated dramatically across sectors—municipal, industrial and consumer—which has created compliance challenges.
“Forever Analytical’s aim is to be the preferred front-line solution in PFAS detection. The addition of Arthur Kemp will help accelerate commercialization of our field deployable systems where the need is great in Europe as well as in North America.”
Kemp earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences with a specialization in Energy Processes. He completed a Masterclass in Project Management at Holland Innovative Academy.
Forever Analytical’s technology is supported by funding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Department of Defense, DARPA, Eurostars (European Union), HG Ventures, Elevate Ventures, the Notre Dame Pit Road Fund, and angel investors.
